Chicken Tights Shashlik

Ingredients

  • 1kg boneless, skinless chicken thighs or breasts, cut into 3cm cubes
  • 200g Greek yogurt or sour cream
  • 2 tbsp olive oil or melted ghee
  • 3 tbsp lemon juice
  • 4 cloves garlic, crushed
  • 1 tbsp grated ginger
  • 2 tbsp tandoori masala or paprika (or mix of coriander/cumin/cayenne)
  • 1 tbsp dried fenugreek leaves (kasuri methi) or oregano
  • Salt, to taste
  • 2 red onions, cut into chunks
  • 2-3 bell peppers (colored), cut into chunks

Instructions

  1. Best to marinate overnight. and 10 minutes direct, 10 minutes indirect heat. Two minutes before, put the glazing on.
